The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for providing human capital management advisory services to PAYDAY clients on the Administrative Services Only (ASO) model and clients that utilize the HR features of the iSolved platform. This position leads a variety of human resource projects and provides fruitful human capital advice. You will help clients optimize everyday processes as well as implement strategic HR plans and technology. The goal of this position is to ensure the client's HR department's operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.

Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities

 

  • Configure iSolved HCM system according to company needs, maximizing electronic and automated processes
  • Assist with the development and coordination of recommended changes regarding workflow
  • Perform audit of current HR systems and policies and be able to advise on best human capital management practices
  • Provide consultation and guidance to senior management and organizational partners in the interpretation of human resource management policies, procedures, programs and application of related government laws and regulations
  • Ensure business practices are in accordance with human resource policies and labor laws
  • Help clients strategically integrate effective HR processes, programs and practices into their daily operations
  • Help establish control systems for compliance with business methods and HR practices
  • Provide support to client in various HR-related topics including but not limited to leaves, compensation, discipline onboarding and termination
  • Write and update policies, procedures, and Employee Handbooks
  • Help train HR staff
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law

 

 

Education and Experience

 

  • College graduate a plus
  • SHRM-CP or HRCP a plus
  • Minimum 3 years HR-related experience
  • Experience in project management preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods and best practices
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Computer savvy with working knowledge of human resource IT (ATS, Payroll etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
